Specialty Risks Management Liability Coverage

Brokers’ Risk has provided its management liability program to self-insured groups since 1981. Over time, the program has expanded to self-insurance groups and has cultivated exceptional knowledge of many insuring organizations, as well as expertise in claims handling. The program continues to evolve and respond to its clients' coverage needs and market conditions.

Specialty Risks Management Liability Program covers the insuring organization, its insuring entity board, board members, employees, and committees. Optional coverage is available to affiliates such as a sponsoring association, including board members and employees. Optional coverage may be available to subsidiaries that are insurance agents, claims, marketing and distribution administrators, and insurance program administration.

Insuring Organization

Coverage is provided to self-insurance funds, captive insurers, Risk Retention groups, and Joint Powers Authorities.

Trustees, Directors, and Officers

The Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, officers, and comittee members can be held personally liable for their acts. This policy specifically includes the Directors, trustees, and Officers of the named insuring organization to help protect their personal assets.

Employees

In many instances, employees, including employed Executive Directors and Administrators, are named in a lawsuit. This policy provides coverage to the employees for authorized actions in their performance of duties.

Optional Coverage

Affiliates – Subsidiaries

Many insurance programs are sponsored by a not-for-profit association, public entity association or trade association. With the Brokers' Risk Specialty Risk Management Liability Program, coverage is available to certain affiliate and subsidiary organizations.
